UFO SIGHTING IN MOULTRIE, GEORGIA ON FEBRUARY 2ND 2015 - A STRANGE CIGAR SHAPE WITH WHITE OR GREEN LIGHTS THAT AT ONE POINT 2 OF 4 GOT EXTREMELY BRIGHT IT HAD A BLACK HELICOPTER TRAVELING BEHIND IT WITH A NOTICEABLE TAIL LIGHT, BOTH AIRCRAFT FLEW IN A PERFECT STRAIGHT LINE HEADING FROM A N TO S DIRECTION
I spent 6 years in the military, 4 working with Special Operations and recently worked as a contractor for the Army training troops before they deployed to a combat zone earning 2 awards from the US Army Special Forces, seeing every type aircraft and helocopters each branch has, that being said I know aircraft. I stepped out to smoke a cigarette and as I often do I stared at the stars, traveling from the N heading S I noticed the small cigar shaped silhouette with 4 bright light s heading in a perfect straight line, the two lights in the middle were bigger and brighter, I then noticed the black helicopter (Blackhawk/jay hawk) and I could clearly see the light on the tail to make out the helo, about halfway through the sighting the two middle lights on the unidentified aircraft got extremely bright for about 10 seconds and then dimmed back down, it was odd to me because the unidentified aircraft flew in such a precise route and the fact that I couldn't tell what type this aircraft could possibly be. Neither aircraft had at any time made any sound what so ever.

Tonight at 9:28 p.m. PST, I saw it once more, undemanding best quality me, gliding from south to north. No lights at all, generous V or triangle shape, lighter highlighted than the night sky.
The other mature it flew from east to west, then pending was southeast to northwest. It seemed to fly fairly ridiculous, slower than satellites or airplanes, and no lights at all every time. One of the problems with the Shuttle was that it was an enormous rocket with huge fixed costs. After the retirement of Energia/Buran, its Soviet copy, it was, by a huge margin, the biggest rocket in the world. The fixed costs of operating it was about 2 billion a year even in years the Shuttle did not fly at all.
It did one thing very well: carrying crew and cargo to a space station and helping to build it.
It was also capable of servicing, repairing and upgrading the Hubble Space Telescope. Arguably, it would have been less expensive to plan from the beginning to launch several progressively improved versions of the telescope.
It could and did recover or repair other satellites for reuse, but those missions were much more costly than launching a replacement. It could and did put satellites into low earth orbit, but it was found that other rockets could do the same job for less money and without risking a human crew.
In the end, it was a special purpose vehicle, used to support ISS and occasionally service Hubble. NASA was essentially the only user, and so absorbed the fixed and variable costs year after year, severely restricting NASA's ability to fund other human spaceflight projects. NASA was unable to simultaneously operate the shuttle and develop a replacement.
Other, smaller rockets are more flexible. Atlas, Delta and Falcon can split their much smaller fixed costs among several government agencies, and possibly commercial customers as well.

Unfortunately, there are many in Congress and at NASA who want to repeat the mistake, building a huge, specialized launcher with NASA as the only customer, reusing as much Shuttle technology and infrastructure as possible.
The attractions of this are obvious if your district is making Shuttle components or operating Shuttle infrastructure, or if you work at a NASA center that expects to oversee or operate the Shuttle-derived launcher.
For everybody else, this is a bad idea. At the funding that NASA can realistically expect, a specialized mega-rocket is not the best way to get beyond low earth orbit.
We can return to the moon or visit asteroids with existing launchers, using spacecraft assembled and loaded with propellant in low earth orbit. Ed Kyle explains.
At worst, we use a brute force approach and storable propellant for the departure stage. This is less efficient, pound for pound, then liquid hydrogen and hydrogen, but it's proven technology. We know that storable propellant can be stored for long periods and is routinely transferred in low earth orbit.
I believe that we can do better. It should be possible to store cryogenic propellant with limited boiloff in LEO and transfer it in orbit. This would significantly reduce the mass required in LEO for any given mission. If not, we can fall back to storable propellants.
This approach has several virtues. NASA would avoid the need to develop and maintain their own unique launch system, freeing more money for spacecraft, other systems, and missions. At the same time, shipping propellant and hardware to LEO would be a significant new market for which currently underutilized US launch companies could compete, spreading their fixed costs over more missions and significantly lowering average launch costs.

Fiction ONE ALIEN WOUNDED, A SECOND DEFEATS ARMY WITH "DEATH RAY"

A spaceship from another world has landed on The Mall across from the Capitol Building in Washington DC.
Hundreds of witnesses watched as the strange craft circled the city,then touched down on a open baseball field.
Members of the local National Guard were alerted and arrived within minutes. Their brave job, to secure the area and to protect the populous from any alien invasion. Despite warnings a large crowd gathered behind the perimeter.
The craft remained motionless for some time. Until without any warning a long ramp emerged from the craft and some sort of doorway formed above it. One lone being emerged from inside, wearing some kind of military uniform. Unprovoked the creature then pulled a device, most likely a weapon of unimaginable terror, from his garments. One brave soldier, fearing for the safety of his fellow comrades and the crowd around him, opened fire dropping the creature in his tracks. It was at that moment that the second, much larger, being emerged from the craft. Using what can only be described as a "death ray" the creature destroyed several tanks. Only after commands from the first being did the creature stop it's attack.
Fearing for personal safety this reporter did not stay around to face the music.
The military later revealed that the strange alien creature was in their custody, and had been taken to Walter Reed Hospital for medical treatment. The second being, which the army is calling, "The Metal Giant", has not made any movements since it's initial attack. The military has this "Giant" surrounded in case it once again becomes "active."
It is my belief that the military has this situation under control and that there is no cause for panic.

Virgin Galactic Reaches New Heights in Third Supersonic Test FlightPosted: 12 Jan 2014 01:25 AM PST
Virgin Galactic, successfully completed the third rocket-powered supersonic flight of its passenger carrying reusable space vehicle, SpaceShipTwo (SS2) on Friday. In command on the flight deck of SS2 for the first time under rocket power was Virgin Galactic's Chief Pilot Dave Mackay. Mackay, along with Scaled Composites' (Scaled) Test Pilot Mark Stucky, tested the spaceship's Reaction Control System (RCS) and the newly installed thermal protection coating on the vehicle's tail booms. All of the test objectives were successfully completed. The flight departed Mojave Air and Space Port at 7:22 a.m. PST with the first stage consisting of the WhiteKnightTwo (WK2) carrier aircraft lifting SS2 to an altitude around 46,000 ft. At the controls of WK2 were Virgin Galactic Pilot Mike Masucci and Scaled Test Pilot Mike Alsbury. On release, SS2's rocket motor was ignited, powering the spaceship to a planned altitude of 71,000 ft. - SS2's highest altitude to date - and at a maximum speed of Mach 1.4. SS2's unique feather re-entry system was also tested during today's flight.
Two important SS2 systems, the RCS and thermal protection coating, were tested during today's flight in preparation for upcoming full space flights. The spaceship's RCS will allow its pilots to maneuver the vehicle in space, permitting an optimal viewing experience for those on board and aiding the positioning process for spacecraft re-entry. The new reflective protection coating on SS2's inner tail boom surfaces is being evaluated to help maintain vehicle skin temperatures while the rocket motor is firing.
SS2's propulsion system has been developed by Sierra Nevada Corp and is the world's largest operational hybrid rocket motor. Although today's flight saw it burn for a planned 20 seconds, the system has been successfully tested in ground firings to demonstrate performance characteristics and burn time sufficient to take the spaceship and its private astronauts to space.
Commenting on the successful test flight, Sir Richard Branson said: "I couldn't be happier to start the New Year with all the pieces visibly in place for the start of full space flights. 2014 will be the year when we will finally put our beautiful spaceship in her natural environment of space. Today, we had our own Chief Pilot flying another flawless supersonic flight and proving the various systems required to take us safely to space, as well as providing the very best experience while we're up there."

This flight was the third opportunity to see a supersonic, rocket-powered test of the Virgin Galactic system after dozens of successful subsonic test flights. "Today's flight was another resounding success," said Virgin Galactic CEO George Whitesides. "We focused on gathering more transonic and supersonic data, and our chief pilot, Dave, handled the vehicle beautifully. With each flight test, we are progressively closer to our target of starting commercial service in 2014."
For Mackay, the flight was a "dream come true."
"I have watched SS2 evolve over the years into an incredible vehicle that is going to open up space to more people than ever before," he said. "To be behind the controls and fly it as the rocket ignited is something I will never forget. She flew brilliantly. All the tests went really well and generated vital data that will be used to further fine-tune our operations."

"Melodious Bill OF EVENT/SIGHTING:" I was sitting out in hitch set and saw 5 or 7 UFOs in a V formation. Gift was no murmur and I was able to watch the objects for 2 minutes. Gift was no fight and hence the formation of craft went severely out of sight in seconds.
I went filling bitter, and Dad called KYW radio in Cleveland, Ohio and was told their switchboards were lit up in the midst of self-same information from others. We never heard any additional about this, but they were give.
