The next day, the lights reappeared, and the team again investigated. Burroughs stated that he came in direct contact with lights flying around the forest-in other words, UFOs. The creature was not found to have oval heads, green-skinned, or black eye like a big scary aliens who are often depicted in science fiction movies. However, this bacterium is evidence of alien life outside our planet, and a surprise, looks like organisms on Earth.
That's the conclusion of Dr. Richard B. Hoover, an astrobiologist at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, Alabama, which released its findings in the Journal of Cosmology, journals that have been evaluated scientifically, last weekend.
For 10 years, Hoover has been exploring remote areas of Antarctica, Siberia, and Alaska to collect and study meteorites.
Fossils of alien bacteria was found Hoover in the category of very rare meteorites called carbonaceous chondrites CI1. Only nine meteorite from that class were found to fall to earth.
Although hard to believe, Hoover convinced that the findings reveal that fossil evidence of bacteria that live in meteorites, the remains of living organisms that are likely to come from comets, the moon and other celestial bodies. "These findings suggest that we are not alone in this universe," he said. "I interpret as an indication that life is spread wider than restricted to only the planet Earth. The field study was almost no one touched because, frankly, many scientists who believe this is impossible."
Using a very simple process, Dr. Hoover broke the stone meteorite in a sterile environment before examining the new surface is solved under a scanning electron microscope and a scanning electron microscope field emission. Standard equipment that helped him examine every millimeter surface of the stone to look for fossil evidence of aliens.
He found fossils of microorganisms that are not too different from bacteria found beneath our feet. "Interestingly, in many cases, they can be recognized and can be associated with generic species on Earth," says Hoover. "But there is also a very strange and does not look like any bacteria that I have ever identified. I've showed it to many other experts, but they are also confused."
Other scientists said that the implications of this research is very shocking, describing the findings were very important, complicated, and wonderful. But Dr. David Marais, an astrobiologist at NASA AMES Research Center, stated that he was very careful before supporting the findings. Claims discovery of such alien's happened before, and proved to be false. "This is an extraordinary claim, that's why I require extraordinary evidence anyway," said Marais.
Recognizing that this study will invite controversy, journal Cosmology invited several members of the scientific community to analyze the results and write a critique of the findings. "We invited 100 experts and disseminate a general invitation to more than 5,000 scientists from the scientific community to evaluate the paper and to offer critical analysis of them," said Dr. Rudy Schild, a scientist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, chief editor of the Journal of Cosmology.
In his official statement in the journal, Schild stated that there had never been other papers in the history of science who underwent a thorough screening such as Hoover's findings. "Previously there was also the scientific community who are given the opportunity to critically analyze a research paper before the paper was published," he wrote.
Dr. Seth Shostak, senior astronomer at the SETI Institute, said there was a pile of doubt to believe in such publications. If true, the implications will travel far into the various fields of science and astronomy. "Maybe seeded life on Earth; he developed at the comet, for example; and landed here when the meteorite hit the young Earth," says Shostak. "The findings indicate that life is not really originated on Earth, but begins when the solar system began to take shape."
Doubts new claims to believe it's something common, Hoover said, and indeed indispensable in science. "Often need a long time before scientists began to change their minds to what is valid and what is not," he said. "I'm sure there will be a lot of scientists are very skeptical and that's OK."
Until Hoover's research independently verified, Marais said the findings should be regarded as having the potential signs of life. "Scientists will lift this research to the next level of investigation, including an independent confirmation of the findings by other laboratories, before these findings can be classified as a sign of life that has been confirmed," he said.
Hoover said it was not worried about the process and open to other explanations. "If someone can explain how it is possible to find the remains of life that has no nitrogen, or nitrogen below detectable limits as I have, in the shortest period of 150 years, I would be very interested to hear it," said Hoover. "I have talked with many scientists about this and no one could explain."

I frankly cannot remember the last time a "UFO" book was published that received as much attention as did the publication in May of Annie Jacobsen's "Area 51: An Uncensored History of America's TOP SECRET Military Base". The book is a big one at 523 pages and was published by Little, Brown and Company. The last 133 pages are notes. I am listed as one of 45 secondary interviews along with investigative Journalist George Knapp, Norio Hayakawa and Robert Lazar. Strangely, what has received the most attention, despite the title, is the claim of a totally new explanation for the Roswell Incident.
There have, of course, been several official Roswell explanations put forth by the government, including a "flying Saucer"; a weather balloon radar reflector combination; a Mogul balloon train and my favorite, to explain reports of alien bodies: Crash test dummies dropped all over New Mexico. Of course, none were dropped before 1953 and all were 6' tall and weighed 175 pounds and were in USAF pilot uniforms. Unfortunately, this ridiculous explanation was uncritically accepted by the New York Times which also carried a favorable review of the new book.In stark contrast the Washington Post of June 3 carried a scathing review.
As the original civilian investigator of the Roswell Incident, I have been convinced, based on my own very extensive research, and on that of other serious investigators such as Don Berliner (we co authored "Crash at Corona: The Definitive study of the Roswell Incident"), Don Schmitt and Tom Carey's "Witness to Roswell" and Don Schmitt's and Kevin Randle's Roswell books as well as research by Dennis Balthaser, Dr. David Rudiak and others, that the explanation best fit by the evidence is an alien spacecraft. Arianespace opened a busy year of mission activity in 2014 with another Ariane 5 success Thursday that added key numbers to the company's commercial launch services track record. This 250th launch performed by Arianespace lifted off from the Spaceport in French Guiana at 6:30 p.m. local time, delivering a dual-satellite payload into geostationary transfer orbit: ABS-2 for global satellite operator ABS, and Athena-Fidus for the defense/homeland security needs of France and Italy. The mission's duration was just over 32 minutes. Chairman and CEO St'ephane Isra"el said the ambitious launch manifest is a challenge that Arianespace is ready to meet. Recognizing the Spaceport's launch teams, he noted their role in maintaining the quality, reliability and availability of the company's Ariane 5, Soyuz and Vega launcher family in a time of increased competition.
"My satisfaction is all the greater that tonight's mission is the very symbol of Arianespace's dual raison d'^etre," he explained in post-launch comments. "Arianespace provides Europe with a guaranteed and independent access to space; while at the same time it delivers high-quality launch services to commercial satellite operators worldwide."
Released first during Flight VA217 was the ABS-2 relay spacecraft, which had a mass at liftoff of approximately 6,330 kg. and was the first satellite for which ABS directly awarded the launch contract - selecting Arianespace. As a result, Arianespace continued its support of new and developing communications market entrants, with more than 80 percent of satellite telecommunications operators selecting the company for their first launch milestones - placing the emphasis on quality, reliability and availability.
ABS-2 was produced by SSL (Space Systems/Loral) and will deliver optimized telecommunications, direct-to-home (DTH) broadcasting, multimedia, and data transmission services for Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Its operational geostationary orbital slot will be at 75^0 East.
ABS-2 is the 43rd satellite built by Space Systems/Loral to be launched by Arianespace.
Deployed at the conclusion of Flight VA217 was the Athena-Fidus payload - the 50th satellite launched by Arianespace for European defense purposes. Thales Alenia Space built the 3,080-kg.-category spacecraft as prime contractor to customer Telespazio, working on behalf of the French CNES and Italian ASI space agencies, as well as the French DGA and Italian Segredifesa defense ministry organizations. The launch was the 216th flight of an Ariane-series vehicle. It marked the 72nd Ariane 5 mission overall, and the 58th consecutive success for Arianespace's workhorse heavy-lift vehicle.
The next Arianespace mission is planned for March 7, using another Ariane 5 to orbit the ASTRA 5B and Amazonas 4A relay satellites. Amazonas 4A - built by Orbital Sciences Corporation for Hispasat - arrived in French Guiana this week aboard a cargo jetliner.

That would of course still be deeply concerning to us. Imagine if you will social justice aliens. They arrive on planet Earth to say hello. And then they start to make demands. Why don't you treat women fairly in your society? Why don't you treat minorities and other cultural groups with respect? Why does government X not allow people to vote? Why don't you start treating dolphins as intelligent beings? Why do you eat cows?The list could go on. Now these are very anthropocentric ideas. Aliens would likely have an entirely different perspective and thus a list of our problems that perhaps we don't consider problems at all.The point is members of an alien civilization questioning who we are and how we handle ourselves would be troubling. It's a matter of human autonomy. Even if you agree with their assessment of our weaknesses, that doesn't mean we want aliens telling us to fix it. It's very much akin to the human response when someone from the outside criticizes your family. You may be quick to respond: we can pick on each other because we're family.
