Stephen Bassett, who organized the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure, said that he will be raising the issue to the United Nations in order to continue his efforts for extra-terrestrial disclosure. Four out of six former members of congress signed the statement. The six former representatives were the ones who made up the committee that heard testimonies from UFO witnesses and researchers during the five-day hearing at the National Press Club in Washington D.C.
The statement was signed by former congresswomen Carolyn Kilpatrick and Lyn Woolsey, former senator Mike Gravel and former congressman Merrill Cook. The other two members of the committee were former congresswoman Darlene Hooley and ex-congressman Roscoe Bartlett. The two did not sign the statement because of post-employment restrictions on Congressional Members and officers.
The hearing highlighted the claims of several witnesses from different countries on their UFO and extra-terrestrial encounters. Bassett is hoping that one or some of these countries would come forward to sponsor the proposed global conference.

I found out on September 19, 2008 that there was another sighting of Bigfoot/Sasquatch here in Houston, British Columbia. This time the sighting of the critter was just east of town on Morgan Road. A very credible lady witnessed the Sasquatch, this would have been around the same time it was sighted here in Houston which would have been near the end of July 2008. I told my daughter about the sighting, her face dropped a bit as they live right around where the critter was seen. I hope to have more on this soon.

InfoTech is the screen name of a friend and fellow UFO/ET investigator who posted frequently on the Open Minds Forum and got interested in the Stephenville case. He got into trouble with the PTB awhile back and ended up in electronic containment and limbo. All his electronic communications both computer and phone were monitored and censored.
InfoTech is a bit of a data management information technological wizard, hence his screen name, and managed to break out with an email to me telling me that he had been threatened, his family and AJ (our Stephenville reporter) was threatened as well when he got into a heated argument with his handlers. They told him he was not allowed to continue to communicate with AJ and the UFO community especially OM.
InfoTech said there was something very big being covered up in the Stephenville case. I got very concerned and posted this email at OM and made a big public fuss about what was happening to InfoTech. I now believe the threats were in the heat of the moment and do not feel that his or AJ's life is in any real danger. I think this was just an attempt to intimate InfoTech into submission with decidedly mixed results.
This public action on my part seems to have resulted in InfoTech being able to communicate with me for awhile but nobody else in the UFO community, not even AJ with whom he had begun to help build a website. He was even beginning to get suspicious of me because of this. I was blocked from communicating once again when I asked about details of this heated argument.
In these email conversations InfoTech told me he held a Top Secret clearance relating to his data management work. He even told me that one time he got freaked out when he was taken to an undisclosed location to do some data management work where the people did not look quite human. He got scared and did the work from his hotel room.
InfoTech got very interested in the Stephenville case and this seems to have been what triggered his troubles. He wrote to me that he thought that perhaps what was being covered up was an Air Force attempt to force down an alien craft by boxing it in with fighter jets and forcing it to the ground. The craft evaded this Air Force maneuver by flying over the restricted airspace of the Bush ranch. This he believed was an attempt to capture the occupants alive to be forced to give up their technological secrets.
Now I have just been told that this Stephenville event triggered a Navy reaction. As we have been learning the Navy now seems to be responsible for at least some diplomatic extraterrestrial policy. I am beginning to wonder if there was a clash between an unenlightened Air Force extraterrestrial policy and a more enlightened Navy diplomatic policy. Could this be one of the reasons Source A went public with the big stick of public exposure to get folks together on the same page and make sure everybody knew who was boss.
This got me to thinking that AFOSI may be behind InfoTech's electronic containment. They don't seem to have had a problem shutting down UFO investigators in the past when they have got too close to the truth as most of us know. My interest is to free InfoTech from this harassment and containment and make sure his Top Secret clearance is not lost. Apparently his handlers feel they have a legal and legitimate right to do this because InfoTech holds a Top Secret clearance. I think other folks in other branches of the military and intelligence community might find this case interesting. J
I realize that InfoTech's handlers feel that they are just doing their job and I don't want to cause them unnecessary problems by asking my contacts to pull rank on this. J They need to realize that it is no longer business as usual and that they are interfering with a very important civilian UFO/ET investigation and its primary investigator. Its past time to end this kind of long standing civilian harassment as long as InfoTech did not divulge any classified information. He says he did not.

They pledged to respond to any petition that got a significant following. Of course, what the White House expected was to hear from citizens concerned with things like immigration reform, or America at war in the Middle East, Medicare and Social Security. What they got, and what the senior White House official had to respond to, are petitions SIGNED BY 17,000 PEOPLE who say they want the government to disclose what they know about extraterrestrials here on Earth. A recent National Geographic poll claims that 36 percent of Americans think aliens have visited Earth, and almost 80 percent believe the government has kept information about unidentified flying objects a secret. There are many scientists who say the odds are pretty good that there is another planet somewhere that has life on it. However, they speculate that the odds of making contact, or of any aliens showing up on your street, are extremely small. Now we have the official word from the White House: If there ever was any contact with any life-form among the trillions and trillions of stars, or if any extraterrestrial had ever engaged any member of the human race, President Obama would know about it, but he doesn't, so there hasn't been any, and that's that. It's doubtful this will dissuade the 17,000 people who signed those White House petitions. The next time you see a blob of light in the sky, it probably will be the planet Venus; on the other hand it could be a space vehicle under alien control, so you should know that you can start your own petition now to get the government to come clean about what's going on. My friend and I are from Jackson County. One summer day in the year 2000 we went cruising out in the country. We started driving around 11 P.M approximate. We eventually got lost and didn't know where we were. My friend was driving and he eventually said something like I think I know where we are. We are by Tunnelton which is in Lawrence County. He said there were some tunnels close by that you drive through and that is was kinda spooky. So I said ok lets do it. We started driving looking for these tunnels. I remember it was around 2 A.M. because I looked at the radio clock and said something like its getting late. Are we going to stay out all night? My friend said we will start back home when we find a tunnel. I don't remember exactly how I saw the two objects that I saw, but I do remember the sky being clear and rounding a corner. I am not sure how far away the two objects were, but they appeared to be as big as a softball or basketball from my angle. One of the objects was blue. I am not sure if the whole thing was blue, but it was glowing blue. The other object was red and it was growing red. They were disc shaped and appeared to hovering. They eventually started moving and it seemed like they were circling each other. Both objects started flashing lights. I do not think they were in a pattern, but I honestly do not know. I was in shock. I knew these objects were not normal. The red object eventually spun like a top and disappeared. The blue object soon followed. It looked like they spun and flew off, but they flew off so fast that I couldn't tell if they really did or just disappeared. I looked at my friend after all of this because we were in complete silence while we watched. He said he tried talking to me during the ordeal, but it was like he couldn't talk. I don't remember feeling this way, but he said he did. I do remember feeling like a numb feeling and feeling like my thought process had slowed down. I have only told my wife and my parents about this night. Of course, no one believes me, but I know that I saw something special this night. This night has stayed with me all of these years.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi, staying with friends in yellow apartment building at Red Cow roundabout, looking out facing M50 around 12:30 PM on Christmas Day 2007. I noticed a small black oval shaped flying object with a flashing red light taking off slowly from Clondalkin area, generating more speed towards Dublin city center and eventually disappearing towards the Irish sea, all in a straight line.
