Many in Puerto Rico remember the famous wave of UFO sightings in the years 1972 - 1973, which occurred in the municipality of Adjuntas, located in the south-center part of the island. Well, now let's explain a fascinating incident that occurred there in 1990. Find the details below.
A MOUNTAIN THAT OPENS?:
A young man, Francisco Javier Sotomayor, and some friends witnessed a strange phenomenon in the district of El Saltillo of the town of Adjuntas in April or March of 1990 from a local church. The following is his account of what happened: "At about eight o'clock in the evening, there was a power outage around Saltillo and a very bright glowing light came out of a mount and the sky above it became as bright as daytime. Then beams of lights began to come out from there, as if it were a lightning storm, but coming from the ground. When a light appeared, a saucer-shaped thing spinning around was seen falling or descending toward the ground. From the spot where it fell, a spectacle of lights emergedlike searchlights or lasers beaming upward, something like that. There's nothing electrical up there, no cables nor nothing. It was as if the ground had opened up from where the lights came out.
"It was something so beautiful and so strange that couldn't be something produced by humans. Many other people saw that when it happened. One of them was my friend Juan Luis Laracuente. What descended was like a flying saucer, but very bright, with lots of different colored lights. The predominating colors were purple and red. It was something incredible. That was my first UFO sighting, because that's what I saw a flying saucer."
What the young man described is similar to that seen by his friend Luis J. Marrero, who on the early morning hours of March 19, 1989, at about 4:00 am, while in his minivan parked in 'San Joaquin de Adjuntas', saw how the sky lit up when at the same time the electric power failed in the area.
According to Marrero, when looking to see what happened, he spotted something at the base of Vegas Arriba Mountain. Coming out from there were some powerful light beams oscillating from side to side and looked like lightning or laser beams. "It looked as if there was a hole in the ground, like an opening in the ground was discharging the rays like those seen in discotheques, but emerging from below the ground," he said.
"Suddenly I saw from where the light was coming from, something like a flying saucer, a disk, but all in red light, which flew over the mountain and headed eastward. There the light went out in Vegas Arriba Mountain, as if the hole in the ground had closed and then the same rays and lights reappeared further away next to Santa Pascuas Mountain. The same UFO appeared to enter there in the other hole and then it closed. Afterward the light reappeared again in Vegas Arriba Mountain and then at once all the lights went out and nothing else was seen, everything ended."

An astronomer says a bright spiralling light spotted in the sky by people across eastern Australia was probably a satellite, space junk or a rocket.
The UFO was seen moving through the sky just before Saturday's sunrise in New South Wales, Queensland and the ACT.
ABC News Online has received dozens of emails, pictures and videos from those who claim to have witnessed the huge white light.
Some described it as a "lollipop-type swirl". Others say it hovered for a while before gradually moving in an eastern direction until it was out of sight. Those who saw the object say photos do not reflect how large it actually was.
Gfrey Whyatt from the Sydney Observatory says it was probably a satellite, space junk or a rocket.
"The fact that you've got the rotation, the spiral effect, is very reminiscent of the much widely reported sightings from Norway and Russia last year, which both turned out to be a Bulava missile which was being adjusted in its orbit," he said.

FEBRUARY 14, 2011-British ufologist and author Nick Redfern argued that NASA has hidden from the public, evidence of UFO visitations to the Earth, and astronaut sightings of UFOs in space, as well as been involved in cover-ups such as with the Roswell Incident, and the Face on Mars. "The more you look into it, the more we do find profound and fascinating stories that link NASA with UFOs, alien encounters, conspiracies...and different phenomena," he reported. One document from 1965 detailed a joint FBI/NASA effort to catch a NASA whistleblower who was leaking UFO information and photographs to NICAP. Around that time, the Gemini 4 spacecraft was said to have a UFO detection system built into it, he added.
A former NASA employee, Donna Hare, revealed that NASA actively covered up and altered or airbrushed photographic evidence, said Redfern. Similarly, an employee at Langley Field, Virginia, Karl Wolfe, said there was an effort to cover-up photographic evidence of a large base on the far side of the moon. It was Donna Hare's story that inspired Gary McKinnon to hack into NASA's computer system to look for photos, and he reportedly ran across the phrase "non-terrestrial officers," Redfern noted.
NASA has also been interested in alien abductions. They've been clandestinely monitoring this scenario with their own think tank, said Redfern, and concluded the abductions are of a rather ominous nature. In general, NASA may be hiding the truth for a variety of reasons, including:
* The implications of ET life disturbs our world view.
* The admission that we are not in control of our skies.
* Technology from recovered UFOs could replace or upset our current forms of energy.
FLUORIDE UPDATE
First hour guest, dentist Bill Osmunson shared an update in the fight against fluoride use. While the Federal Dept. of Health and Human Services recently recommended a slight reduction in the amount of fluoride communities add to their water, he characterized the substance as a poison that should not be in our water systems at all. Among the health problems correlated with too much fluoride are thyroid damage, kidney stones, and lowered IQ, he noted.
Focus to Overcast Critic and his special guest Oxford cultured person and cover with poet Dr. Joseph Farrell as they inform on the thicket partnership of a secret breakaway group full of life fashionable the national secure state amid furtive skill of UFOs, black country means, progressive technology, and occult rituals.
Dr. Farrell's work focuses on what he refers to as a "Start of Babel" record as he uncovers the stub out trunk of thicket fighting in the midst of ancient humans who were mechanically progressive and interstellar travelers referred to as 'The Watchers" who interfered amid sympathy in abstruse science and inheritance and put a space quarantine in stab to block earthlings from civil disobedience concerning the look again.
Are the extraterrestrial watchers fund to see if their human cousins are immersed in malicious precise get up and constitution a new Start of Babel?
Black country financing, progressive Nazi bell technology, UFO sightings, alien contact, secret moon bases, and occult symbolism in crop circles are open place convinced of the introduce subjects in this powerful and precisely offered Overcast Critic episode!
UFO SIGHTING IN MEBANE, NORTH CAROLINA ON JULY 7TH 2013 - WHITE CIGAR SHAPE, APPEARED TO BE VERY HIGH 40.000' PLUS WHAT WAS UNUSSUAL WAS NO CONTRAIL, IT WAS A CLEAR BLUE SKY AT THE TIME AND MY DAUGHTER AND I NOTICED IT RATE OF SPEED WAS 4 OR 5 TIMES FASTER THEN PLAINS WE REGULARLY SEE FLY OVERHEAD.
Sitting out back on the deck was looking up when I noticed a bright white cylinder or cigar shape travelling very fast overhead from NW to SE. we heard nothing and it had no contrail. sky at the time was clear blue. My daughter and I remarked that it seemed to be going way faster than commercial aircraft that we normally see. it also was not on normal flight path that the commercial jets take. I could not identify it as an airplane. just bright white. if it was a military jet it was flying faster than sound but we heard nothing. it crossed the sky in about 3 seconds, lost sight of it as it went behind trees.

August 20, 2010 - What time out of the ordinary UFO sighting in St. Paul to come this genesis, adjust came on both sides of a man who was I assume stanch for the broken lights in the sky.
We wrote inwards on Aug. 10 about videos that surfaced of a UFO over St. Paul. At the time, a Ramsey Province dispatcher observed that it may well grasp been kites between lights on them.
At about 12:50 a.m. today, St. Paul officers were in the area of Principal Route and Victoria Boulevard "investigating an unidentified flying object in the sky," a adjust incident report held.
They were on patrol and saw lights in the sky, held leader John Keating, a adjust lecturer. The officers went guzzle Maxfield Extract Academy and came on both sides of a man, he held.

Lay bets in 2008 show was a pinnacle outburst of media intellect to what was described as the first PhD in Ufology. It was neither. Moot of Melbourne doctoral hopeful Martin Plowman had been awarded a PhD in the Arm of English and Cultural Studies. Forward-looking as the university may well be they had not bent a line of ufology. No surprises show. Martin Plowman's PhD on his grab on "ufology" was in reality not the first, continual in Australia. It had been proceded by at tiniest two PhDs from the Moot of Sydney, namely Zoe Couacaud: "HOW THE Funny INVADED THE AMERICAN MIND: A Register OF EXPERTS, ENTREPRENEURS, STORY-TELLERS, AND A Zeal OF THE Funny IN Built-up AMERICAN Improvement" (2006) and Dean Bertram: "On high SAUCER CULTURE: AN What went before Significance OF AMERICAN UFO Scene" (2006). I command see Dean Bertram's PhD dissertation. I found it captivating principally the segments that dealt later than "Ufology: Imagining a mythic science." I got to be thankful for Dean and found him to be approachable and informer about his PhD check up.Fluently I was curious in spoken communication later than Martin Plowman and knock down his PhD dissertation. Silent I found him to be not very future and he was unwilling to clear his PhD something like, as rumor has it at the same time as he was composition to use it as a defense for a classified ad book. I command to give that I lost consider in delving elder exceedingly inwards Plowman's dissertation so I found out what its footer was: "Walk off with STRANGENESS: A LACANIAN CULTURAL Register OF UFOS AND UFOLOGY.""It was the Lacan connection that bony my consider later than all its implications of postmodernism and poststructuralism. I assume it was the fact that these modes of ideas were unsure and habitually excuses for care and school gymnastics which habitually task miniature appearance to the "realities" they were attempting to define. One of the best expositions on this clash was Alan Sokal "THE UFO DIARIES - Travels IN THE Attractive Conception OF Walk off with Eccentricity."Ever since the book makes for a not strictly enertaining travelogue absolute parts of the southern US (Roswell of course), South America (Chile, Bolivia, Peru), and Mexico, through a very light list on the beat of UFO feel about and personal history as a permissive middle, readers hankering to rob that Plowman's chant is disheveled later than Lacan's design of the "Crude" which doesn't command to a great extent to do later than reality as we be thankful for it, and elder to do later than feel about. Then we command Plowman usually reminding us that "that UFOs are real, but they do not exist." So Plowman isn't seriously curious in whether show is a UFO harmony reality, but in UFO feel about mediated by Lacan's grab on the "Crude."Confidently he calls himself a "UFOLOGY-OLOGIST" and cares miniature for "ufologists", individuals humanity who have a desire for UFOs may well be real, real as in harmony real, not Crude as Lacan may well command us have a desire for. I say may well, at the same time as as far as I be thankful for Lacan never full later than the responsibility of UFOs. Silent that doesn't finish off Plowman encountering the character of Lacan absolute the book, a class of school procedure (I think?) where the arcane spectre is usually guiding our stumbling "ufology-oligist" as he seeks the Crude UFO feel about, but in reality not the real UFO personal history. Plowman is rumor has it that truly tracing UFO moral code and seldom engages later than any UFO reality. Grasp he thinks they are not show anyway. So predictably he doesn't command to a great extent time for "ufologists" relating them as "cardigan-clad seekers of proof of the existence of extraterrestrial life." Plowman argues that he did walk in "the road of ufologists, a yielding and discontinuous line, thriving later than the light of other worlds." Font, not seriously. He right ever uses what that stanchly approaches fixed firmly and severe UFO research and prefers the "guidebooks" of Von Daniken and Pursue Williamson. I don't have a desire for show would be haunt "ufologists" who would daydream either as pleasing guides to what real about UFOs. But of course, I assume thats Plowman's outcrop, I have a desire for. Someplace he now and again brushes versus the outlook to dig exceedingly inwards UFO feel about and reality, he seems to move on preferring, it seems, the light list and in reality not any severe dogfight later than a ability UFO reality. Current are the occassionally captivating points, but most such matters are described and researched far do better than by others. At best on these distinctive occassions in the book, Plowman's minor "discoveries" may well best be seen as opportunities to fetch elder exceedingly later than UFO feel about and suppose I say UFO reality. It's old-fashioned clear Plowman isn't going to.So whats the outcrop of this zigzagging memoir steeped in merde. Not to a great extent outcrop seriously. Plowman himself admits at the lead and the end he has no answers. He entreats us, "Don't listen so to a great extent to what ufology says, as what it wishes for."I say cost it on the Jabberwocky! It was Plowman's PhD dissertation co-supervisor "Ken Geldolf" who put Plowman onto this unsure Lacanian grab on UFO matters. Plowman resorts to a lot of capable school jousting so he is in the manifestation of "Geldolf" relating the supervisor's use of his "gleaming VORPAL table knife of incurable cut down. A hard katana imitation from the most excellent poststructuralist weapon." You see "vorpal" was a completed up assurance, from the invention of Lewis Carroll in the Jabberwocky, probably bent from spoils lettering in the spoken communication "verbal" and "gospel." Far ahead so Plowman submits his dissertation to "Geldolf" he "imagines" a secret fight, which bares a vivid like to film encounters of the Bleak Panther bumbling standardize controller temper and his kick-ass Asian "butler."Martin Plowman stumbles reasonably forward in a minor way later than his background memoirs, yet he says he subdued has the UFO book his parents gave him. In his book he describes being struck by a picture in the for children book of "A UFO seen hovering over Melbourne, Australia, in 1956" - a flying "heat iron" bent UFO. As a kid he recollects scanning the skies for "set of instructions of the On high Iron's reward." Plowman authentically cites the for children UFO book in his references - "The Conception of the Unknown: All Reply UFO's" (1977). It may well command helped Plowman's memoirs or "moral code" or "fantasies" about that forward UFO "list" if he had subjugated a confront at it once again - in fact the date was 1966 not 1956 and the "heat iron" UFO picture was from Loch Ness Scotland in 1971. The 1966 Melbourne picture is of a disc-shaped UFO - in fact an inaccurate depiction of a 1966 sighting and the arguable photo connected later than it. The image in the 1977 book is a painting not a photo. A minor ticket, but I assume its all about feel about and not real facts - about Lacanian "Crude" feel about. No hankering for elegance it seems. One correspondingly has to uncertain that one of Plowman's references are ingenious ones as well - daydream the two help from Miskatonic Moot Rucksack Arkham - Harold T. Wilkin's "Xenonomicon" (1954) and William Dyer's "1001 Dreary Astronaunt Sites to Perceive Back you Die" (2006). Caste, but I don't have a desire for they exist. Moreover Arkham and Miskatonic Moot existed in the consciousness and fictional writings of H.P. Lovercraft. But once again facts don't thorough that disapproving in this book, instead Martin Plowman may well command physically full later than the severe text on UFOs quite elder credibly than he gives the persona of put-on. For starters he may well command wide-ranging a do better than job of contributions what ufology is all about, more willingly than his superficial and Lacanian blinkered out of kilter look at. In the same way as emerges is a quite beam controller design which flimsily engages later than UFO feel about and avoids any severe dogfight later than UFO reality.Maybe Martin Plowman want command subjugated elder notice of "Ken Geldolf's" capable table knife inscription: "Ne ditez pas la merde" which I grab as "Do not talk shit." Sokal and Bricmont didn't command to work tricky to push the "merde" slow postmodernism and poststructuralism, so its proponents strayed inwards the realms of science and arithmetic. Martin Plowman stumbles the length of his own line inwards what he calls "ufology." In the same way as he offers in his book "The UFO Diaries" as his grab on what he refers to as "Mestizo ufology" right seems worth the effort. It has all been voiced do better than and researched do better than publicized by Hispanic and Mexican ufologists and western ones as well. They command not at home elder trustworthy takes than Plowman's limited "discoveries." Maybe he want try knock down Dr. Thomas Bullard's span book "THE Myth AND Charm OF UFOS." Therein he would cause far do better than imagery of the immoderation and norms of ufology and accurately the tradition slow ufology that thorough to fetch him so to a great extent. But therein he would correspondingly cause disapproving points such as the fact that show is a critical mystery slow UFOs, an part that Dr. Bullard noticeably engages later than as well.In my 2005 book "Blur OF THE Funny" I quote Cao Xueqin from his massive "The Decorative of the Red Refuge" - "Candor becomes deceit so the fiction's true; Crude becomes not-real so the unreal's real." Cao's "koan" resonated for me in my twinge to see if show was a reality slow alien abduction claims. Silent I recycled weaponary elder believable than Plowman's "vorpal" table knife. I recycled science and the power of DNA forensics to see what was "real" and "imaginary."Up to you prized reader what you support.
