UFO EXPERT RON HALLIDAY (photo left) talked to STV News recently in an exclusive interview about mysterious sightings in Edinburgh and the nearby Pentland Hills. According to STV, Halliday "said witnesses had come forward and reported three sightings to him since July." The events were all unexplained balls of light, essentially, but STV notes that Halliday "says having three sightings around the Pentlands in the space of three months is quite unusual. As UFO researchers will know, these latest events happened only a few miles away from two of the most famous unexplained incidents in Scottish history." Details at STV.tv.
UFO SIGHTINGS IN THE UK are not only taken more seriously by the public in general, they're just more fun. So much so, in fact, that some schools over there are actually having UFO crash drills. No duck-and-cover excercises, these. DATELINEZERO reported this on October 10:
"The latest "UFO drill" took place Wed, Sept 29, at Sandford Primary School in the UK. The kids were treated to a full UFO crash scenario that included wreckage, police tape, and real police officers. (Perhaps it was only lacking men from the government telling the children not to talk about what was seen.) What's interesting is that "police were on hand to show the children how to properly investigate the UFO crash site. Full article...
BEFORE YOU DISMISS THE UFO CRASH DRILLS AS RIDICULOUS, think of them as a fun way to get students to eagerly participate in a disaster drill. Whatever they learn in those drills could probably be applied to a lot of different, more likely disaster scenarios.
